Originally three distinct parishes, each with its own pastor, St Ann Parish and St Vincent de Paul Parish, began to share a pastor in 1991. They were among the first in the diocese to be so joined owing to the lack of priests. Because this experiment was successful, the diocese now has several such groupings. In 2004, the pastor of St Ann and St Vincent de Paul was asked to assume the pastorate of St Patrick Parish in West Stockbridge as well. What resulted was three thriving communities of faith nestled amongst the Berkshire hills.
